Volunteer recruitment should be an ongoing process, so there is no start or end point. Following the recruitment cycle will help you prepare, find, welcome and support new adults as they begin their volunteer journey.

The Recruitment Cycle - Pink boxes in a circle with arrows between each box going clockwise: Work out what you need and who can help, spread the word and create interest, build connections, make the ask and manage the reply, give a warm welcome and provide support, keep going and adapt.

Filling out a recruitment plan will help clear up what to do, how to do it and who is going to do it. Use these pages to fill in your plan and help future-proof your Group.

Click through to each page to find tools, tips and resources for each step of the recruitment cycle.
