Join our UK 18-25 Rep Pool

Overview of the role

The UK Rep Pool is a collection of 18-25-year-olds from around the UK who are trained to represent the UK Scout Association at events in the UK and abroad. These events vary from the conferences, seminars and workshops mentioned on the website and may be from a single day to a whole week. The UK Rep Pool then ensure that any learning, knowledge and inspiration from these events is brought back to the relevant teams of volunteers at UK level as well as sections they may be involved in locally.

As a Rep Pool member, you will be expected to attend a training day once a year and bi-monthly calls. This will include updates from World Scouting, other events members have attended, and any lessons learnt from projects. Typically, members will also help support other UK national projects which their event experiences can relate to.

What will I get out of this?

By joining the Rep Pool, you'll get the ability to help TSA internationally, whilst going on new international adventures yourself, as well as:

• A greater understanding of UK and International Scouting
• Experience new countries and cultures
• Ongoing, tailored training
• A lot of interesting stories!

Application process

You can apply for the role yourself using the application form. This is a short online survey form capturing answers to the following questions. Positions on the team are offered on survey answers alone, there will be no interviews.

Please complete the Diversity Monitoring Form at the end of the application, which you will be automatically redirected to.

Key dates

Closing date: 12:00 on Tuesday 30th April 2024

Induction: If your application is successful, it is expected you will attend an in-person training day on 22nd June 2024 at Gilwell Park.​
