Competition: Design the Scout T-shirt
Send your designs to: The Marketing Team, The Scout Association, Gilwell Park, Chingford, London E4 7QW. Include your name, Group, email and telephone number.
The closing date is 31 May 2008
Simply download the T-shirt template and photocopy so that you can get all your Scouts involved.
Terms and conditions:
- By entering your design into the competition you
warrant and agree:
(i)that the design is entirely your own original work; and
(ii)that you are the owner of any Rights in the design; and
(iii)that and have not assigned or granted a licence of the Rights to any third party; and
(iv)that if your design wins, you hereby assign all rights in your design to The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd who will own such rights exclusively and without limitation when using the design for commercial or other purposes. Your design will become and remain the property of The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd. - For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Rights” shall mean all rights (including moral rights), title and interest in and to any copyright, inventions, discoveries, trade names, trade marks (registered and unregistered) designs and design rights (registered and unregistered), badges of trade, get-up, and any other intellectual property rights of a cognate or similar nature arising anywhere in the world in the said design.

To the extent that any Rights in your design do not automatically vest in The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd by operation of law, you shall hold such Rights on trust for The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd and shall assign such Rights to The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd on demand. You shall at the request of The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd do all acts and execute all such further documents, forms and authorisations as may be required to vest the Rights in the said design to The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd. You also agree that, with respect to any third party, a certificate signed by any duly authorised officer of The Scout Association and Scout Shops Ltd that any act or thing or document or form falls within the authority hereby conferred shall be conclusive evidence that this is the case. 4. There is no guarantee the winning design will be made into a T-shirt.
