Technical adviser funding
Those running workshops for County Activity Assessors can get funding for the use of an external technical adviser in planning and running the workshop.
This funding covers up to 75 per cent of a technical adviser's professional fees, to a maximum of £100 per day. The technical adviser needs to have significant input into the planning of the workshop and be in attendance at the event. The minimum qualifications required for technical advisers to gain funding are the same as those laid down for external assessors in the factsheet Adventurous Activity Permit Scheme – Approved Assessors (FS120104).
Applications for this funding should be sent to Gilwell Park using the application form available below. Submissions need to include invoices or similar from the technical adviser. Submissions without this paperwork cannot be paid.
