Global
The Global Zone introduces Explorer Scouts to different local and
international issues.
It aims to help Explorer Scouts develop a better understanding of the world they live in and make the link between local activity and global issues.
The Global Zone also develops their
understanding of other countries, their environment, people, customs,
cultures and Scouting.
The activities should also help young people understand their own local and national identities and develop their understanding of global issues. These activities should support young people in being active citizens within the international community.
Benefits
The Global Zone benefits young people by:
