Brand your Olympic-themed event
09/02/2012
Celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Games with your own Olympic-themed (and branded) event.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has listened to common sense arguments from a variety of organisations, including The Scout Association, and amended some of its previous restrictions on the use of Olympics-based branding and logos.
Resources for local leaders
If you sign up as a LOCOG local leader, you can now use a variety of resources, including branding and logos, when organising an Olympic-themed event locally. Your event can either tie in with a LOCOG idea, or can be an absolute original.
For inspiration and tools to help your event, visit the LOCOG local leaders web pages.

| By Andrew Rush (13/02/2012 21:41) "Organising Committee listens to the views of those that are actually paying for the Olympics - shock". It's a start, but why do I have to hand over my personal details? LOCOG are notoriously reticent to give out details about how they work, ticket allocation etc and yet I have to give them my details just to use a logo. Can you please keep the common sense arguments going? |
