Young film-makers wanted
06/08/2010
Do you have a Scouting story to tell? We would like to hear from young people in Scouting aged 10-18 who would like to help make a film about what Scouting means to them.
It could be a story about how Scouting has changed their lives, transformed their communities or had a positive impact on others. No previous experience of filmmaking is necessary and equipment will be provided.
All they need to do is be able available on 19 August for a training and briefing day. The Scout Association will meet travel and if necessary, accommodation costs for the day. What we need is enthusiasm, be willing to appear in front and behind the camera and, of course, have a great story to tell.
If interested please email Lynn Young by Wednesday 11 August.

| By Jeremy Wood. GSL (07/08/2010 18:29) Thank you, But are you aware that may be we need a reasonable notice period for an activity such as this. I have an Ideal candidate who together with with friends have made a short film that has been accredited with a BBFC ( British Board of Film Classification ) certificate. This is the summer holidays and the filming took 4 weeks. | By jaswinder marbay (09/08/2010 21:54) It is very short notice as most of the scouts are away on family holidays. We ran 3 evening sessions on making a short film on what scouting means to them. jas marbay ASL 13th Southall Sikh Scouts Southall |
