Take your Group on a Beats Odyssey

This Spring BBC 21CC, the BBC Philharmonic and BBC Singers are giving young people the opportunity to participate in an innovative project to create music and animations for a final performance in BBC studios in London and Manchester.
During a series of workshops led by industry professionals, participants will work at the 21CC studios in London and Salford getting to grips with new creative skills as well as working remotely with young people in the other studio via video conferencing.
There are places for 120 young people aged 8-13 from Scout Groups to take part in either the animation or the music production element of the project.
The dates are as follows:
Animation Group – 30 places in London and 30 places in Salford 7-9 April 2010
Music Group – 30 places in London and 30 places in Salford 13-15 April 2010
Both Groups – all young people
12 April 2010 (morning only)
16 April 2010 – Final Performance
If you would like your Group to participate in this project please send an expression of interest to information21cc@bbc.co.uk as soon as possible. This must state your preferred location, number of young people you wish to take part and whether you are interested in the music or animation element.
