Falklands Beaver Scout's Badges success
03/09/2009
A Beaver Scout from the Falkland Islands has managed to achieve all of the badges available to her. Seven year old Caitlin has gained her badges whilst enjoying the wide range of activities Scouting has to offer young people.
Caitlin’s first badge was the Air Activities Badge, whilst her last was the IT Stage 1 Badge. In between she has gained badges by looking after pet chickens, learning to climb, taking a trip in a helicopter, learning about healthy eating, appearing in a pantomime… and much more.
Caitlin was inspired to get involved in Scouting after her brother Alex joined. Her enthusiasm for taking part in new activities and gaining badges means her younger brothers are now counting the days until they can join too.
In October she’ll be moving from Beavers to join the Cub Pack and already can’t wait start collecting all of Cub Scout badges too.

So many people never think of the Falklands when you mention Scouting UK.
