Approved Assessors

Full details for assessors working within the adventurous activity permit scheme, including details of qualifications required to become an assessor.

There are two types of Approved Assessor. They are:

  • County Assessors – Appointed by Counties to be Assessors for specific activities.
  • External Assessors – Qualified individuals external to Scouting who are used to carrying out assessments when no County Assessors are available.
