Southern Stars (UK) Fellowship

Southern Stars (UK) Fellowship [SSUKF] was formed in October 1995 with aim of 'providing a body of people who can supply help and support at Scouting and Guiding events throughout the UK and overseas, as and when appropriate'. Events we have worked at include various Cub and Beavers Fun Days, Gilwell Winter Camp, working weekends at Gilwell and Foxlease, WINGS, Campdowne, Goose, Avon Jamboree and many others. We also have a global perspective, with members having worked in Chile, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Iceland. Southern Stars has, and will continue to build on, a reputation for reliability and flexibility, always being prepared to work 'out of the box'. Members are experienced in a wide range of duties including: security, catering, food distribution, running adventurous activities, toilet cleaning and site service work. SSUKF has many registered 'International Friends of SSUKF' who keep in touch. This encourages our International Friends to join us at major events in the UK, and provides the opportunity for SSUKF members to visit abroad, building Scouting links throughout the world. To find out more about SSUKF or to become a member email our Membership Secretary at info@ssukf.org or visit our website at www.ssukf.org
