Serbia and Montenegro National Scout Fellowship

The purpose of the Serbia and Montenegro National Scout Fellowship (better known as SAMNet) is to promote the countries of Serbia and Montenegro as venues for UK Scouts to visit and to assist the national and local Scout authorities in delivering Scouting to Serbian and Montenegrin Scouts. This work falls in four main areas:

• Providing programme resources for UK Scouts including background material and programme ideas for Beavers to Scout Network
• Providing opportunities for UK Adults in Scouting to visit Serbia and Montenegro by organising study visits and other trips
• Providing opportunities for UK Scouts to visit Serbia and Montenegro for example SAMnet coordinated the 350 strong UK contingent to the Serbian National Jamboree in 2006
• Providing active support to Scouts in Serbia and Montenegro including assisting them to come to the UK but also arranging delivery of equipment and running training courses
