Mark Finnis Scout Fellowship Support Team

I joined The Scout Association as a Cub Scout, however I was really born into Scouting as my Dad was on the Gilwell Service team and my mother was a Cub Leader and worked at Gilwell Park. Gilwell Park was my playground and I also slept in a cot in the White House on big events such as Reunion, Cub Day, Sedan Chair Rally. I was a Scout Leader for ten years until work commitments prevented me from continuing. Approximately six years ago I joined the Scout Fellowship after being recruited by my partner. The Scout Fellowship gave me the opportunity to provide active support to Scouting in a flexible way and has allowed me to work with a cross section of young people and adults.
