Lyn Rowe
My main role in Scouting at present is as Explorer Scout Leader which I have been doing for the last 4 years. But over the years I have worked in all the Sections, as well as being Group Scout Leader (my least favourite). My whole family has been involved in Scouting in some way, either as Leaders or with the Scout Fellowship. I even met my husband on a Campfire Leaders course. My claim to fame is that my grandparents were presented with their thanks badges by Baden-Powell himself!
I have been a Leader trainer in Leicestershire for over 25 years and was for 10 years an active member of the Scout Fellowship.
I agreed to become project leader for the Fellowship review because I feel strongly about what the Scout Fellowship can offer the young people in our organisation, and what it can get back from them.
