Are you full of ideas? Are you the one in the office who always has something to contribute to brainstorming sessions, or the one in the classroom who always knows the right answer?
Have you visited one of our activity centres and thought ‘this is great, but you know what would make it even better?’ Then we want to hear from you, whether you are an adult leader, parent or young person.
We’re looking for some amazing ideas that we can turn into real experiences at our Centres. It could be programmes, courses, events or anything else that you think appropriate to our wide audience. You can even get your section or unit involved and win your next camp.
Get your brain in gear and put finger to keyboard. Email your ideas to the Activity Centre team by 31 January and you could win a free weekend at a Centre of your choice (terms and conditions below).
Entries can be up to 300 words, but must be relevant to one or all of our activity centres. You can enter as many ideas as you like.
Visit the Scout Activity Centre website to find out more about our locations.
We look forward to reading your entries and will inform you as to whether you have been successful by 14 February. Those ideas that become reality will feature in our new Scouts Brochure out this year.
New additions
2011 is an exciting time for Scout Activity Centres. From 1 April, we will add Great Tower, situated in the Lake District and Woodhouse Park, Bristol to our family of centres. Both will offer new and exciting adventures to Scouts from around the UK.
The Association’s vision is to develop a network of activity centres across the UK. With sites operating at Downe, Ferny Crofts, Gilwell Park, Hawkhirst, Youlbury and now Great Tower and Woodhouse Park we are moving closer to realising that goal.
