Welcome to the home of the 1st Gilwell Park Scout Group – a global family of thousands of adults in Scouting. If you are a holder of the Wood Badge you are already a member of the Group.

What is Gilwell Park?

Gilwell Park is the home of Scout Leader training on the edge of Epping Forest, London, England. It is also the place the Founder of Scouting, Robert Baden-Powell, chose as his original training ground. As such it has a special place in many people’s hearts.

Gilwell Park is continually evolving to provide modern facilities for young people and leaders alike. We hope the experience of every person visiting Gilwell is a good one.
