The Carbon Trust
The carbon trust helps businesses and the private sector to cut their carbon emissions. They also support the development of low carbon technologies.
The Big Green Challenge
The 'people-powered innovation prize.' This is a competition for groups to come up with innovative ways of combating climate change and reducing emissions in local communities. There is a £1m prize fund and applications can be made until the end of February 2008.
Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust is a non-profit making organisation that is funded by the Government and the private sector. EST was established after the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. They aim to promote sustainable use of energy and to cut carbon emissions.
Impetus Consulting Ltd
Impetus Consulting specialises in sustainable energy and climate change issues, specifically enabling environmental messages to be clear, accessible and easily understood. Impetus has brought their expert knowledge to the project to design the resource materials for use by the Scout members.
