The Big Adventure
If you want to use camps to recruit parents then you can call this a Big Adventure. The chief scout wants you to get involved... and he knows an adventure when he sees one.
Using camps to recruit parents
Any camp or event taking place which includes an overnight stay is a great opportunity to involve parents on the team and recruit them as volunteers.
We have compiled a guide to help you through the process of using camps to recruit parents, which you can find on member resources. By recruiting more adult volunteers, we can get young people off joining lists and into Scouting.
