The Big Adventure… gets cooking!
The Big Adventure is back and this time there’s a brilliant cooking theme to help you give parents and other adults a taste of volunteering for Scouting.From Saturday 1 May until Tuesday 31 August any camp or event can be part of The Big Adventure, simply by inviting parents and other adults to get involved. It’s an ideal way to target new adult volunteers.

Your feedback is really important, because it helps us to make next year even better!
Everyone who completes the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win two nights’ free camping for their section at one of the five national Scout Activity Centres*, or £230 worth of free camping equipment including tents, stoves and torches.
The survey is open until Monday 20 September, and the prize draw will be held on Friday 1 October 2010.
* The prize can be claimed by arrangement with your chosen centre (from Gilwell Park; Ferny Crofts; Downe; Youlbury and Hawkhirst) for up to 30 people. The offer does not include activity fees and is for camping only.
